Who we are

Global Liner Agencies (GLA) is a Shipping Agency with Danish roots representing “Niche” Shipping Lines throughout Europe and beyond. The lines we represent operate services to destinations ranging from the most exotic islands to the most desolate outskirts of our planet.

In doing so, we are a young & dynamic team of 20 people who combine a fresh view on shipping with an enthusiastic drive and work environment close to port.

Who we want to be

6 years ago, we were only 4 people in our Belgiun office so our growth is clear, and our aim is to keep on growing over the next decade. Currently we have offices in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany & Spain and looking to open new offices wherever we see opportunities.

That is why we are looking for motivated, dedicated new colleagues to lift GLA to the next level and help us gain cargo, customers and agencies whilst keeping those already in the group happy and looked after.

What are we looking for

As we are an ever evolving, growing company then we are looking for an enthusiastic applicant who easily adapts to changing circumstances as there’s new opportunities luring after every corner.

Basic shipping knowledge would suffice, we really value people having a fresh view, the ability to think outside the box whilst possessing a natural flair for logical thinking.

Of course, fluent English language is an added value and computer skills are an absolute must today.

What we offer

A position in a dynamic team with many possibilities to develop or change course within the GLA group.

Your initial task will lay within getting familiar with the various products offered within the group and operate them whilst keeping customer, shipping line & yourself happy.

Once this skillset is mastered and products are known after some months, the opportunity to explore other segments within the company will present itself naturally.
