Specialist shipping solutions from Europe to Indian subcontinent ports and inland container depots
Global Liner Agencies helps freight forwarders and cargo owners arrange container shipping from Europe to India, with access to a network of major Indian ports and inland container depots. Through our shipping partnerships and local agency network, we can help coordinate the movement of cargo beyond the port of discharge and towards its inland destination.
Whether you are shipping full container loads, shipper-owned tank containers or need inland haulage, our team can help you explore the available routing and transport options for your requirements.

Shipping to India can involve more than selecting a vessel and a port. The right solution needs to consider the cargo's final destination, available haulage options and the practical requirements of the shipment.
Global Liner Agencies works with both freight forwarders and cargo owners to help coordinate these moving parts.
Reaching the right port is only part of the journey. For cargo destined for inland locations, we can also arrange access to inland container depot (ICD) and container freight station (CFS) options through carrier haulage and merchant haulage arrangements.
This gives freight forwarders and cargo owners greater flexibility when planning the movement of containers from Europe to main seaports in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lank and beyond.

We connect key European ports with major Indian ports, offering routing options designed to support a range of import requirements.
We currently offer the following European ports of loading:

With current routing options we use an average transit time of approximately 42 days for the listed European-to-India routes, with the published transit time calculated via Cape Town.
Transit times are indicative rather than guaranteed. Actual schedules can vary depending on the European port of loading, Indian port of discharge, routing, transhipment arrangements and prevailing shipping conditions. Wherever possible, we will choose routes that improve transit times but never at the risk of your cargo. Getting your cargo to its destination safely is our first priority.
